Supply Chain Manager                                                              

Reports to:

Principal Manufacturing Executive

Primary Objectives:

Manage and control the company’s purchasing activities to optimise value for money in purchases, quality of materials purchased, and reliability of supply and timeliness of delivery.

Main Accountabilities:

• Develop policies and procedures to meet purchasing requirements.
• Monitor all links in the supply chain from product sourcing to warehousing and storage.
• Maintain records to monitor the purchase operation and current inventory levels.
• Approve all major invoices for payment and verify receipt of materials or services prior to payment.
• Direct subordinates in the conduct of their activities.

Matching Indicators:

Relevant qualification and at least ten years in warehousing or supply.
