Systems Analyst/ Architect                                                                 

Reports to:

Senior Systems Analyst, Project Manager or Systems Manager

Primary Objectives:

Analyse and scope functions, operations and procedures. Investigate technical problems to establish, develop and design procedures in the programming of computerised data processing systems and applications. 

Main Accountabilities:

• Analyse and develop software requirements.
• Contribute to system specifications and define and write program specifications.
• Coordinate the preparation of software manuals and operation guides specifying methods of operation and maintenance of systems.
• Estimate cost of systems and prepare cost benefit analyses, and schedules for management approval.
• Test programs to ensure they work as expected and integrate with other programs forming the system.

Matching Indicators:

Tertiary qualification and more than three years experience in software development and programming.
