Service Technician - Remuneration Report

All our Remuneration Reports are three pages in length and provide a brief position description covering the job purpose, main accountabilities and matching indicators. This is accompanied by remuneration information and common benefits displayed in a tablulated and graphical format. We also provide a guidline of how to interpret the Report and where an individual employee should be positioned. 

Service Technician                                                                                 

Reports to:

Service Manager or Engineering Manager

Primary Objectives:

Install, test, service and repair a nominated range of products ensuring equipment conforms to company operating specifications and that the use by the customer is within guidelines.

Main Accountabilities:

• Modify or update equipment where required, including recalibration.
• Maintain tools and test equipment supplied.
• Prepare detailed service and repair records for all work done on all equipment for all customers.
• Install and service equipment and perform on site repairs as required.

Matching Indicators:

Must have an Electronics Certificate and several years experience.
