Senior Technical Officer - Remuneration Report

Senior Technical Officer                                                           

Reports to:

Experienced Engineer, Project Manager or Technical Manager

Primary Objectives:

Undertake technical work such as research, development, laboratory and/or engineering activities within a specific engineering or scientific discipline, may also involve staff supervision.

Main Accountabilities:

• Conduct and report on engineering/ scientific investigations.
• Provide technical advice, investigate problems and initiate actions relating to the supply and usage of plant, equipment and materials.
• Supervise the design and development of equipment, parts of complex systems, materials tools and methods, including the quality of the work of team members. 
• Prepare or co-ordinate the preparation of technical information, standards, manuals and technical reports.

Matching Indicators:

Three – four year degree/diploma with at least eight years experience.
