Research and Development Engineer - Remuneration Report

Research & Development Engineer                                      

Reports to:

Project Manager, Section Engineering Manager or Chief Engineer

Primary Objectives:

Plan and execute complex development engineering projects.

Main Accountabilities:

• Plan, develop projects including the scientific/engineering models underpinning the applied research goals.
• Supervise the setup and use of test rigs or models, laboratory and test equipment.
• Prepare budgets and time schedules for senior management approval and plan research projects.
• Report on development progress and results and recommend action when required.
• Liaise with marketing and production departments as appropriate.

Matching Indicators:

Four year degree and more than five years engineering experience in an R&D environment.
