Project Engineer - Remuneration Report

All our Remuneration Reports are three pages in length and provide a brief position description covering the job purpose, main accountabilities and matching indicators. This is accompanied by remuneration information and common benefits displayed in a tablulated and graphical format. We also provide a guidline of how to interpret the Report and where an individual employee should be positioned. 

Project Engineer                                                                         

Reports to:

Principal Engineering Executive, Plant Manager or Project Manager

Primary Objectives:

Undertake project engineering assignments involving technical specifications and detailed planning.

Main Accountabilities:

• Prepare detailed project plans among all aspects of design, construction and commissioning.
• Assign work and review for accuracy and adherence to required standards.
• Direct site surveys, site acceptance and preparatory work prior to installation.
• Manage professional engineers, technicians, site supervisors and contractors.
• Commission new installations and inspect completed work.

Matching Indicators:

Tertiary qualification and at least three years experience.
