Foreman – Maintenance Trade                                              

Reports to:

Production Supervisor, Engineering Manager or Plant Manager

Primary Objectives:

Supervise and train a group of tradespeople and apprentices to maintain, refurbish and install plant equipment.

Main Accountabilities:

• Contribute to the development of a proactive maintenance program and associated budgets.
• Ensure safety standards are adhered to in all maintenance activities. 
• Allocate work, train and discipline maintenance staff.
• Manage a small workshop to fabricate tools and repair machine components. 
• Supervise the work of sub-contractors on general building or plant maintenance.

Matching Indicators:

Trade qualifications and a minimum of ten years experience.
