Human Resource Manager
Reports to:
General Manager Human Resources or the Chief Executive in smaller Organisations
Primary Objectives:
Develop, recommend, implement and manage Human Resource policies and activities to ensure the availability and effective use of human resources to achieve profitability and business objectives.
Main Accountabilities:
- Participate in the formulation and negotiation of enterprise base agreements which satisfy the needs of the business within set guidelines.
- Develop effective processes and structures for managing remuneration and performance.
- Maintain and review the corporate workforce plan and initiate appropriate action in relation to the company’s development and deployment of employees.
- Co-ordinate recruitment, selection and training of staff to meet agreed business needs.
Matching Indicators:
Relevant qualification and at least ten years experience with responsibility for determining HR and IR policy within guidelines set by the General Manager of Human Resources.
