Help Desk Officer
Reports to:
Help Desk Manager.
Primary Objectives:
Provide hardware and software support which meets user and business requirements.
Main Accountabilities:
- Advise users about help desk operational and support facilities and processes.
- Respond to user inquiries according to help desk procedures across a range of hardware and software products and advise users of progress in fixing problems.
- Promote the help desk service and encourage user feedback.
- Follow new developments in hardware and software products.
Matching Indicators:
Sound knowledge of software and hardware products and PC desktop and local area network operations.
