Finance Manager - Remuneration Report

All our Remuneration Reports are three pages in length and provide a brief position description covering the job purpose, main accountabilities and matching indicators. This is accompanied by remuneration information and common benefits displayed in a tablulated and graphical format. We also provide a guidline of how to interpret the Report and where an individual employee should be positioned. 

Finance Manager                                                                       

Reports to:

Divisional Manager, with functional accountability to the Chief Finance Officer

Primary Objectives:

Manage the general accounting activities of the division and provide senior management with financial reports, assessments and other information.

Main Accountabilities:

• Supervise maintenance of general ledgers and the production of divisional financial reports and statements.
• Provide senior management with reliable information necessary to control divisional operations.
• Participate in developing accounting policies and approved accounting procedures.
• Maintain tax records and check insurance invoices.
• Supervise the daily operation of accounting activities including debtors, creditors, bank reconciliations and cashiering.

Matching Indicators:

Eight – ten years experience with a relevant degree and responsibility for an accounts group of at least two professionals.
